Slippery Octopus and Snow Ball Fights

New products are finally at the botodesigns shop. Takoboto, the adorable Japanese Robo-Octopus, is now available in T-shirt form for the kiddies. He can be found on onesies and toddler tees. Takoboto is hand silkscreened in bright orange on yellow American Apparel clothing. The Japanese text is read "Tsuru Tsuru" which is an onomatopoeia meaning slippery and smooth.
Also new to my etsy shop is an 8x10 print of my original illustration titled Snow Ball Attack. In the print, Kuroboto is enjoying a snow day of fun on the hillside of a Japanese village, much to the villagers chagrin.

Fun Fact: The Japanese print used as the background in this painting was also used as the cover of Weezer's 1996 album Pinkerton. I knew I was drawn to this print for a reason.

I <3 San Francisco

A few days after my big Art For the Cash Poor 10 Show, the Sam and I flew out to San Francisco for a week long mini-moon/Indian wedding weekend for our friend Raman. I fell head over heels for San Fran, the weather, the friendly people, endless supply of delicious restaurants and magnificent views from every street corner. Here are a few pics of the highlights on our the trip. Sadly I didn't bring my camera to the Indian wedding events but I assure you it was colorful, lavish and fun!
